BluePrint I-Beam rods are precision forged of select 4340 aircraft quality steel which has been degassed to remove any impurities. They are then CNC milled into our track proven I-Beam design and finally shot peened to relieve stress. The two piece construction ensures proper grain flow to increase strength. Our rods feature thicker silicon bronze bushings compared to other manufacturers. Thin bushings can lead to premature wear and rod failure. Precision ground alignment sleeves in the rod cap prevent cap walk under high horsepower loads. For the price, these rods are the best available on the market.
